Meet the Rookies:

Petracca, Brayshaw, McCartin, Goddard… the rookie names we have heard and are tentatively putting into our draft AFL Fantasy and Dreamteams… but who actually are these kids? Most of you might not even know their face on the street, and most likely havn’t a clue about what they have to offer the (fantasy) football world.

Well sit back because over the next 7 days we will take you through all you need to know about the key rookies across each position, so you can make some (slightly more) educated decisions about who to keep your eyes on this year.

The Legacy

In 2014 the names of Langdon, Ambrose, Langford, Dunstan, Crouch, Derrickx and Impey were known to us all, for the good and the bad that they offered us. And then there’s the greats from years before, Wines, O’Meara… oh the memories… and what a legacy they have left behind.

So the questions are:

  • Who are the rookie must haves for 2015?
  • Who are the overpriced top draft picks that won’t make an impact?
  • Who are the sneaky late draft picks who are cheap and likely to debut in Round 1?

The Plan

Over the next 7 days we will take you through the Rookies, line by line, sharing some info about their history, their stats, their preseason and such.

Stay tuned, and check back in… its bloody important!
