Hey DT Coaches,
Wow, what a bye round. Last week really showed the value of having Swan and Ablett in your team. Scores of 2100 were recorded thanks to so big performances by the usual suspects. This is crunch week this week. With The Suns, Bombers and Magpies all on a bye this week, there goes the most of the gun Mids and Def. It’s easy to panic this week but if you have planned ahead you should scrap through with a 1700.
Let’s check out this week’s Good Break Evens!

Baker’s Best Buys
- Tom Mitchell – Number 1 choice for a downgrade. You must get this man in your team. He is a super gun rookie like Zorko was last year.
- Sam Grimley – If Max Bailey is in and out of the Hawks then he could get some games. Job security is a bit up in the air.
- Mark Hutchings – Was playing really well for the eagles then was dropped to fit other returning players in. If he plays could be a good option.
- Nathan Hrovat – As he was not selected last week his job security could be risky but was looking good up until then.
- Ryan Griffen – He is back. Griffen and Boyd are the two shining lights in a failing Bulldogs outfit. Griffen is a tackling machine and could finish the year on a high.
Baker’s Watch List
These players are guns that have had a bad week and are set to drop in value. Wait until next week and pick them up cheaper.
- Steve Johnson
- Adam Goodes
- Pearce Hanley
- Tom Rockliff
