Round 18 – Last Minute Captain

Baker here with your captain options for round 18.

There are only 2 games left before the DT Finals begin. You only have 8 points left to get your team into the top 8. Once you are in – anything could happen. If you are not in the top 8 in your league but could be with back to back wins or are just hanging on to eighth spot, captain choice is critical.

Baker’s top 5 pick s this week…

  1. Swan vs GWS
  2. Pendlebury vs GWS
  3. Beams vs GWS
  4. Watson vs Hawthorn
  5. Boyd vs St. Kilda

The 3 Amigos from the Pies are up against the Giants this week and coming off a big loss last week to the Hawks but still managing the top 3 DT scores of the round last week, the scores could be massive.

Jobe’s form this year has been exceptional. You can always rely on a good score from the Bombers captain. I’m sure that if three Pies can crack 140+ and lose against the Hawks then Watson is always a chance.

Boyd has come back into favour with DT coaches over the last few weeks after a few shockers he has bounced back with three scores of 130+ in 4 weeks. He likes big scores against the Saints so would be a viable option.

Other possible choices could be Steve J, Thompson, Ablett, Pavlich, Priddis, and Carrazzo. All are chances for big score.

I’m sticking with Swan. Again if you don’t have him in your side “YOU WILL NOT WIN IN THE FINALS!” He is a ball magnet and at the moment is unstoppable.

If he doesnt get a rest late in the game, Swan should probably score 160+ again.

Good Luck Coaches!!!

  1. I was curious if you ever considered changing the structure of your site?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people
could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images.
Maybe you could space it out better?

  2. Very nice post. I just stumbled upon your weblog
and wanted to say that I have truly enjoyed surfing around your blog posts.

After all I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again very soon!
